EVENT PARKING

PARKING

There will be no on site parking. There will be free offsite parking at Henry Ziegenfusz Park and a drop and go located within the event precinct. These parking areas at are outlined in the Parking Map. 

If you’re able, we strongly recommend carpooling to the venue and using the Drop and Go and Park and Ride facilities.

Please be mindful and respectful of residents. Any cars found to be parking illegally or over resident driveways will be towed at the expense of the owner.

Affiliates needing to drop off equipment will be allowed access on Wednesday afternoon, further information will be provided to all Affiliate contacts regarding access.

Drop and Go

There is a drop and go located at the event precinct. The entry point is via Smith Street and can only be accessed when travelling southbound towards the intersection with Long Street.

To avoid congestion in the area, only use the drop and go if absolutely necessary. 

Park and Ride

There will be no on site parking. There is some street parking around the fields. The main car park is free and located at Henry Ziegenfusz Park (entry via Island Street).

There will be free shuttle buses taking participants to and from the venue and park and ride all day throughout the event. The shuttle bus stop will be located on Fitzroy Street next to Henry Ziegenfusz Park. The first shuttle bus will be at 6:00am each morning.

The shuttle bus stop from the venue will be located within the drop and go area off Smith Street, next to the Redlands Touch Football clubhouse. 

The Henry Ziegenfusz Park is approximately 20 minutes walk to the venue. 

Disabled parking

Disabled parking will be accessible via Smith Street within the drop and go area. A parking marshal will direct you to the allocated parking. Please note you MUST contact the QTF office if you require a car park in this location. An appropriate parking permit will need to be displayed.
