Refereeing at Junior State Cup?

  • Register online through MySideline.
  • Individual registration is free!

To referee at the Junior State Cup you must:

  • Hold a level 1 – 6 TFA Accreditation.
  • Be connected to an Affiliate.
  • Be a minimum of 12 years of age.

Referee registrations open 24 April 2024 and close 20 May 2024.

During the registration process on MySideline, make sure you ‘opt in’ to receive communication from TFA to ensure you receive all event specific emails and important updates.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Referees are to attend the referee meeting each day at 7:30am (subject to change) prior to the games commencing and must be available for all three (3) days of the competition.

UNIFORM

Referees will be required to wear the official Touch Football Australia Referee Uniform which can be purchased from the TFA Online Shop. 

GAME DURATION

All games will be 14 minutes each way, 2-minute half time break, including all finals.

UPGRADES

The Junior State Cup is a TFA Level 3 Referee Badge upgrade event.

Referees seeking a TA L3 Upgrade must:

  • Indicate, during online registration, if you wish to be considered for a TFA L3 upgrade 
  • Be endorsed be their Regional Referee Director 
  • Accredited in the TFA NEST (if in doubt ask your Regional Referee Director) 
  • Completed the TFA L3 Referee Badge Course by the close of the individual online Referee Registration – May 2024.

MATCH PAYMENTS

The Junior State Cup is an upgrade event and referee coaching and development is provided to all referees. Therefore, no payment will be provided by the event.

RULES

The Touch Football Australia Playing Rules (8th Edition) will be in play at this tournament. The current TFA Code of Conduct must also be adhered to for the duration of the tournament.
