QTF PARTNERS WITH GUZMAN Y GOMEZ FOR THE 2024 & 2025 JUNIOR STATE CUP

Queensland Touch Football is proud to announce that Australia’s fastest-growing fast-food company Guzman y Gomez (GYG) has come on board for the second year in a row to support the Junior State Cup and has officially partnered for the 2025 tournament.

GYG is on a mission to reinvent fast food. From the 100% Clean menu to fresh Mexican flavours, GYG has always pushed the boundaries by creating convenient, delicious and freshly prepared food that is good for you.

Queensland Touch Football (QTF) CEO Greg Denny acknowledged the partnership and the organisation’s aligned values, stating, “We’re proud to partnering with GYG for another two years. We know that GYG offers healthy and clean food for our players and members who lead busy and active lifestyles. It really is fast food athletes say yes to!”

“Like GYG, our people and culture are at the heart of everything we do, and we are excited to partner with GYG to support our communities across Queensland further.”

GYG is committed to supporting grassroots sporting clubs and this support will be visible throughout the Junior State Cup.

The 2024 event broadcast will feature a ‘post game show’ fuelled by our partner Guzman y Gomez and is available to watch on Kayo Freebies in Australia and Sky Sport in New Zealand.

A Guzman y Gomez spokesperson said that the partnership with Queensland Touch Football reinforces GYG’s commitment to sport at all levels in Australia.

“We are proud to be partnering with QTF for the 2024 Junior State Cup in Cleveland. GYG have been feeding athletes their pre and post-match meals for years so we are proud to support and fuel our next generation of Touch Footy players.”

“At GYG our mission is to reinvent fast food, because who said fast food had to be bad food! The partnership is an exciting opportunity to serve fresh, Clean and delicious food to athletes, their families and fans as they head to Rockhampton. GYG really is Fast Food Athletes Say Yes to!”

QTF is excited to welcome GYG back again to the Junior State Cup and look forward to continuing this partnership, providing our touch football community with healthy convenient fast-food alternatives.
