Redland Showgrounds is also accessible via public transport; with Cleveland Train Station a 20 minute walk to the playing precincts (1.6km).
There will be QTF Shuttle Bus running between from Redland Showgrounds and Henry Ziegenfusz Park from 6 am daily.
Pick up from Redland Showgrounds is from the Drop & Go accessed via Smith Street.
Pick up from Henry Ziegenfusz Park is from the Drop & Go accessed via Fitzroy Street.
We strongly recommend carpooling to the event and utilising the free shuttle buses (operational from 6am daily) at either Redland Showgrounds or Henry Ziegenfusz Park which will transport participants to and from these venues throughout each day of the event, or opting to walk between the venues.
A drop and go will also be located within the event precinct via Smith Street and can only be accessed when travelling southbound towards the intersection with Long Street. There is a roundabout at the intersection of Russell Street and Smith Street where you will be able to turn around to access the drop off if travelling from the opposite direction – street parking will be available.
If you are travelling from the Gold Coast or south of Cleveland, the best way to access the drop and go is by driving along Wellington Street and turning onto Russell Street; or drive northbound on Smith Street and utilise the roundabout at Smith Street and Russell Street.
See map below which outlines best available street parking across both sites in surrounding streets (as provided by Redland City Council):
